Eligibility Criteria – ISME India Membership Grades

1. Student Member – Stud.ISME

Eligibility:

• Students pursuing Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, ITI, Polytechnic, or Research programmes in Engineering, Technology, Applied Sciences, or related disciplines.

• Must possess a valid student identity card or bonafide certificate from the institution.

Suitable For:
Students interested in technical learning, innovation, research exposure, workshops, and career development activities.

2. Affiliate Member – Aff.ISME

Eligibility:

• Individuals interested in engineering, scientific research, technical education, innovation, entrepreneurship, or professional development.

• No mandatory engineering qualification required.

Suitable For:
Career development trainers, innovation enthusiasts, academic supporters, industry coordinators, and technical aspirants.

3. Graduate Member – GMISME

Eligibility:

• Candidates holding a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Technology, Science, Management, or related professional disciplines from a recognized institution.

Suitable For:
Fresh graduates, entry-level engineers, researchers, and technical professionals.

4. Associate – AISME

Eligibility:

• Individuals possessing practical technical knowledge, industrial training experience, workshop exposure, or career development expertise.

• May include trainers, instructors, technicians, and skilled professionals.

Suitable For:
Candidate trainers, technical mentors, workshop coordinators, and career development professionals.

5. Associate Member – AMISME

Eligibility:

• Diploma holders, senior technicians, supervisors, instructors, or professionals with relevant industrial/technical experience.

• Minimum 3 years of technical or professional experience preferred.

Suitable For:
Senior technicians, industrial trainers, laboratory professionals, and technical supervisors.

6. Member – MISME

Eligibility:

• Degree holders in Engineering, Technology, Applied Science, Research, or equivalent disciplines.

• Minimum 5-10 years of professional, industrial, academic, or research experience.

Suitable For:
Engineers, technologists, educators, consultants, and research professionals.

7. Senior Member – SMISME

Eligibility:

• Experienced professionals with notable contributions in engineering, innovation, scientific research, industrial development, technical education, or professional practice.

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience preferred.

Suitable For:
Senior engineers, project managers, research technologists, consultants, academic professionals, and innovators.

8. Fellow – FISME

Eligibility:

• Professionals with distinguished achievements and significant contributions in scientific research, engineering innovation, industrial advancement, publications, patents, or technical leadership.

• Minimum 20 years of professional experience preferred.

Suitable For:
Research leaders, senior academicians, innovators, entrepreneurs, and distinguished technologists.

9. Senior Fellow – SFISME

Eligibility:

• Eminent professionals recognized for outstanding leadership, scientific excellence, advanced research contributions, or exceptional service to engineering and technology fields.

• Minimum 25 years of distinguished professional experience preferred.

Suitable For:
Senior research professionals, directors, institutional leaders, chief technologists, and internationally recognized experts.

10. Honorary Fellow – Hon.FISME

Eligibility:

• Conferred by the Executive Council upon distinguished personalities for exceptional achievements, global contributions, or remarkable service to engineering, scientific research, education, innovation, or society.

• No formal application generally required.

Suitable For:
National and international dignitaries, renowned scientists, senior academicians, industrial leaders, policy makers, and exceptional innovators.

11. Patron Member

Eligibility:

• Individuals, institutions, industries, philanthropists, or organizations providing substantial financial, institutional, academic, or strategic support to ISME activities and development.

Suitable For:
Sponsors, industrial leaders, educational institutions, CSR partners, and benefactors.

 

12. Corporate Member

Eligibility:

• Companies, industries, educational institutions, R&D organizations, startups, laboratories, consultancies, NGOs, and professional bodies associated with engineering, science, research, or technology sectors.

Suitable For:
Corporate organizations seeking professional collaboration, research networking, academic partnerships, and institutional recognition.

• Membership grades may be upgraded based on qualifications, achievements, experience, and professional contributions.
